South Boulevard Foreign Language Academic Immersion Magnet (FLAIM) Elementary is the ‘hidden gem’ of the EBR public school system, immersing students in foreign language and academics. In 2010, the Magnet Schools of America recognized it as a Magnet School of Excellence. Further, LEAP test scores for South Boulevard are among Louisiana’s best, earning the school a 4-Star status!
Our Playground: As great as South Boulevard is, substantial improvements to its playground would give our children a truly fun recess – recharging them for the rest of each school day. We want to purchase equipment for playground activities, renovate the few existing old playground structures, and purchase new structures. Further, new landscaping would improve the playground’s “curbside appeal”. The profits from this raffle will be used to give our kids a PLAYGROUND MAKEOVER!
How do I get tickets?
Each ticket requires a minimum donation of $20, cash or check (payable to FLAIM PTO). All South Boulevard families will be selling tickets; if you don't know a South Boulevard family, you will have two options for purchasing tickets:

Personal Sales: Email gracias-merci-raffle@cox.net to request that someone contact you; please tell us how you heard about the raffle.

Online Sales: Enter donation amount equal to the value of your desired number of raffle tickets (e.g., $20 = 1 ticket; $40 = 2; $100 = 5). Donations must be in $20 increments to qualify for tickets, unless you wish to make an extra donation. For example, both $40 and $59 would qualify for 2 tickets. Your ticket numbers will be emailed to the address you provide through Google Checkout.

When will the winners be selected?
The drawing will be at the annual Fall Carnival event which is held at the school, 802 Mayflower Street, Baton Rouge, LA (click address for map) at 5:00 PM on October 15, 2010. Winners need not be present to win. We will contact the winners, and all winning numbers will be posted on this site.
